L. William Krause

Biography

Mr. L. William Krause, also known as Bill, has been the President at LWK Ventures, since November 1991. Mr. Krause serves as the Board Partner at Andreessen Horowitz LLC. He is an Operating Executive and Senior Advisor at The Carlyle Group LP. Mr. Krause also serves as an Operating Executive at Carlyle Investment Management L.L.C. He focuses on US buyouts in technology and business services at Carlyle and is a part of the Corporate Private Equity business segment. He also focuses on China and real estate sectors. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President at Storm Technology Inc. from October 1991 to November 1998. He served from 1967 to 1981 for 14 years in various Marketing and General Management Assignments at Hewlett-Packard Company and served as its General Manager at General Systems Division with worldwide responsibility for its personal computer business.
