Gareth Atkins

Biography

Gareth began his career at Synectic as a Trainee Accountant in 1991, becoming a Director in 2005. Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in business and corporate advisory services and is an experienced board member. He has been at the forefront of growing our firm, including overseeing our state-wide expansion. He has steered the development of our self-managed super fund and financial services divisions, and has been integral to our ongoing commitment to audit as a core service. Gareth ensures we are always at the leading edge of our profession with knowledge, skills and resources that set us apart from other firms of our size. He is valued for his personal investment in building strong relationships with both staff and clients. A proud husband, father of three and Tigers tragic, Gareth and his family enjoy heading out in the caravan and snow skiing. He also enjoys cycling, having ridden at an international level in his younger days.
