Biography
Dr. Scott Palmer, M.D., is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Rush Medical College. Dr. Palmer did his internship, residency and chief residency at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Palmer has been selected as one of the "Top Doctors: Chicago Metro Area" by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. and Consumer's Checkbook, as well as being selected "America's Top Physicians" by Consumer's Research Council of America, Washington, D.C. Dr. Palmer is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and the Chicago Society of Medical Medicine. Dr. Palmer is also the Medical Team Physician of the Chicago Bulls and the Chicago White Sox. In addition to chairing Synthonics Inc. Scientific Advisory Board, Dr. Palmer is a member of Synthonics Board of Directors. Dr. Palmer's interests are in pharmaceutical research, exploring the treatment of autism, cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and infections diseases. Synthonics Inc. has developed a novel drug delivery platform that could markedly improve the treatment of many of these diseases. Dr. Palmer is also a named inventor of Synthonics "Frequency Modulated Drug Delivery" patent, which combines any two compounds to a single metal ion.
