Biography

The Global Oncology Business Unit of Takeda Pharmaceutical, is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on our legacy site of Millennium Pharmaceuticals. As a legacy genomics company, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, founded in 1993, applied world-class molecular biology and genomic technologies to the discovery and development of new therapies in a broad spectrum of diseases. Over the past two decades, Millennium became a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company, and introduced its first successfully commercialized medicine. Millennium was subsequently acquired by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited in 2008 forming Millennium: The Takeda Oncology Company.
