Dr Allan Nelson is a Professor in Tarleton state University in the Department of Biological Sciences. His personal interest Include Dorper sheep, Jack Russell Terriers, and fishing. He has experience in General Biology, Marine Biology and Plant taxonomy.

Plant conservation, Bottomland forest ecology and floristics of the Cross Timbers of Texas.
