Biography
Dr. Jason Sharp is an Associate Professor of Computer Information Systems. He received his Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in Denton. Prior to entering academia he worked as a systems support specialist and custom database developer for small businesses. His research appears in numerous peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings and he has presented his research regularly at international, national, and regional conferences. Since joining the faculty in 2001, he has received several awards for his teaching and research. Teaching Areas include Programming Systems Analysis and Design Database Design and Administration Mobile Application Development.
Research Interest
Systems and Software Development, Methods Globally Distributed Agile, Teams Social Media in Education Course Redesign and Instructional Technology.
