Biography
Dr. Nathalie P. Jones is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Tarleton State University. She enjoys serving and has many roles that consists of mentoring, coaching and serving in the community. Dr. Jones, has dedicated her life to encouraging, empowering and educating women, girls and couples. Research Interest includes: Teaching & Learning with Technology, Healthy Relationships & Healthy Aging Dr. Jones is an Author of the "LIFE" Journal and Co-author of Walk in Your Purpose. She is the founder of Working Women United, Inc. which is a non-profit organization that provides supportive care to college, senior and adult women that reside in unfortunate living situations. Dr. Jones is also the founder of Passion for LIFE (PFL). This brand is designed to provide specifics on Healthy Relationships in various capacities. In particular, through workshops, speaking engagements, coaching & providing literature pertaining to establishing and maintaining Healthy Relationships. Dr. Jones is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She serves under the Omicron Beta Zeta Chapter of Arlington, TX. She is the Chair on the board of Serenity Transformation Home. She is on the Tarrant County Disproportionality & Disparities Advisory Committee & on the Advisory Board of Diversity Mentoring at Tarleton State University. She is a member of the Distance Learning Advisory & Scholarship Committee. Also, she is a Co-Chair of the Tech Committee for the Baccalaureate of Program Directors annual conference & Annual Program Meeting conference reviewer. Dr. Jones was a part of the first Scholarship of Teaching & Learning Cohort as well as the Engaged Scholars Academy.She currently serves as a Faculty Fellow & is on the review board for the Journal of Behavioral and Social Sciences.
Research Interest
My professional interest includes: Healthy Aging & technology in Higher Education as they relate to scholarship of teaching and learning. Personal interest includes: Healthy Relationships and how they affect ones overall health.
