Biography
Mr. Darren P. McKewen has been the President of BNA International, Inc. since January 2013. Mr. McKewen serves as the President of Tax & Specialty Division and Publisher of Bloomberg BNA, Inc. He serves as a Vice President and Group Publisher of Tax Management Inc., a subsidiary of Bureau of National Affairs Inc. He has been with Tax Management since 2005. He began his BNA career in 1987 as a Research Analyst on the customer support staff of BNA PLUS. Previously, Mr. McKewen served as an Executive Editor and Group Publisher for the Human Resources & Payroll Publishing Group. Prior to BNA, Mr. McKewen served as an English Teacher of the British Cultural Center in Asuncion, Paraguay and worked as a Research Assistant of the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington. He has been a Director of Bureau of National Affairs Inc., since 2007. He served as a Director of Tax Management Inc. He served as a Member of the IOMA Board. He holds a degree in political science from the University of Virginia and a certificate in information technology management from George Mason University.
