Ms. Sharon Fountain

Biography

Sharon Fountain serves as Managing Editor of Compensation Planning at Tax Management, Inc. (alternate name, BNA Tax & Accounting). Ms. Fountain covers tax code, ERISA and other legal, design and implementation aspects of retirement, health and executive compensation plans. Prior to joining BNA, she served as an Associate at a law firm in Bethesda, MD, where her practice included M&A, business formation and other corporate transactions; civil litigation; alternative dispute resolution; estate planning; commercial contracts; and employment and executive compensation agreements. She is the editor of two books published annually, ERISA: The Law and the Codeand ERISA Regulations. Ms. Fountain received her B.S. in Finance from Clarkson University, J.D. from George Washington University Law School and LL.M in Taxation and Certificate in Employee Benefits Law from Georgetown University Law Center.
