Biography
Laura H. Wright has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since March 2014. Since her retirement in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer of Southwest Airlines, a provider of air transportation in the United States, Ms. Wright founded GSB Advisors, to provide strategic and financial consulting to growth and non-profit companies. During her 25 year career at Southwest, Ms. Wright served in a variety of financial roles including Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer. Ms. Wright began her career at Arthur Young & Co. in 1982 as a member of their tax staff, following which she became a Tax Manager from 1986 through 1988.
Research Interest
Ms. Wright is a Trustee of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, a publicly traded hotel and real estate investment trust, since 2009, and serves on the Board of CMS Energy, a publicly traded company and its subsidiary, Consumers Energy, since February 2013. Ms. Wright holds bachelor and master of science degrees in accounting from the University of North Texas.
