Mario Calastri

Biography

Mario Calastri is Treasurer of TE Connectivity. Mario is responsible for developing and implementing the financial strategy for the company. As Treasurer, he oversees the company’s cash management, banking, capital structure development and funding, foreign exchange, contingent liabilities, investments, risk management, and financial planning and analysis activities. Mario joined TE Connectivity in June 2007 as Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Previously, he served as Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of Tyco International.

Research Interest

Mario held a variety of management positions with IBM, including Assistant Treasurer, Global Risk Manager and Vice President of Finance for IBM’s IGF division in Europe. Mario holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universita Bocconi Italy, and a Master’s degree in Finance from Pace University, New York, U.S.
