Biography
"Bob’s role with Tecomet dates back to when company was known as Thermo Electron. His career path has evolved substantially with Tecomet’s significant growth over the last 35+ years in an Engineering Design & Development capacity. Known for his curiosity and willingness to adopt new technologies, Bob has been instrumental in developing porous coating implant technologies that are now routinely used to encourage bone growth. Today, Bob is relied upon to lead the company’s development efforts to new directions by developing new technology strategies in areas such as additive manufacturing and photochemical etching. Bob’s enthusiasm for both research and design and the science required to achieve these growth related areas have led him in many different experiences ranging from testing set-ups to creating the manufacturing methodologies required to achieve these aspirations. He serves as a tremendous mentor and is relied upon to provide guidance to team members working in the development field. Bob studied at Merrimack College."
