Lisa Zoll

Biography

Lisa Zoll is a 2003 graduate of the master of social work program from Temple University Harrisburg. Zoll has worked in the health care field since she graduated from high school in various positions including a dishwasher, a nursing assistant, and later as an activity director in a nursing home. Zoll pursued a master in parks and recreation and became a recreation therapist on the Geriatric Psychiatric Unit at Hershey Medical Center. Zoll worked at Penn State Hershey Medical Center for 22 years as a recreation therapist and after receiving her MSW as a Clinical Psychiatric Specialist in an outpatient clinic. Zoll started teaching as an adjunct instructor for Harrisburg’s MSW program in 2008. The first class Zoll taught was a 1-credit Loss and Grief class over the summer. That class turned into a 3-credit class and later she started teaching Assessment and the DSM. Zoll was hired as a full-time tnstructor in the fall of 2014. Zoll has taught across the social work curriculum including the Foundations of Practice and Service Delivery, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Integrative Seminar, and Social Justice.
