Biography
Dr. Maobin Yang graduated with his D.D.S. and M.S. degrees from the West China School of Stomatology at Sichuan University, China in 2003. He received his PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Connecticut in 2009, and completed his postgraduate residency training in Endodontics (MDS and certificate) from the University of Connecticut in 2012. Dr. Yang is the Director of Postdoctoral Endodontic Program at Temple University School of Dentistry. He is also the Director of Regenerative Health Research Laboratory at Temple University School of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Yang has published over numerous papers and book chapters, and he serves in the editorial board of several biomedical journals. Dr. Yang received the AAE Endodontic Educator Fellowship Award in 2010, and received the AAE “John and Joyce Ingle Fellow” in 2010. He practices endodontics in Pennsylvania.
Research Interest
Regeneration of dental tissues using tissue engineering technology, including using dental stem cells and generating innovative biomaterials.
