Biography
Mary Ann Dugan is an Assistant Professor of Instruction for Temple University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. Dr. Dugan practices as a nationally certified family nurse practitioner at La Salle University’s Student Health Center and also at Chestnut Hill Allergy and Asthma Associates, LLC. She has worked in advanced practice areas for over 16 years and nursing for over 20 years. She completed her doctoral work on the “Effect of a Concussion Teaching Plan for High School and College Student-Athletes and Coaches on Knowledge of Concussion Prevention Strategies, Assessment of Head Injuries, and Treatment Guidelines after the First Injury.” She continues her professional work and presentations in caring for the concussed patient.
Research Interest
Her research interests include Concussion, Depression, Infectious Diseases, Family Practice and Interprofessional Activities.
