Biography
Dr. Stec is an Assistant Professor at Temple University teaching undergraduate nursing students. Dr. Stec has over 25 years experience as a Nurse Educator teaching in a broad array of nursing courses in the classroom and clinical area. Recently, she developed Pharmacology for Generalist Nursing Practice, the first interprofessional course in the College of Public Health. Dr. Stec’s experience expands beyond the classroom to curriculum development and construction of effective evaluation methods and has written items for both the NLEX-RN as well as the Certified Nurse Educator Exams. Dr. Stec has served on multiple and varied committees in professional organizations for both the National League for Nursing and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
Research Interest
Her research interest is clinical reasoning and Oncology.
