Biography
Mehran Hossaini, DMD is a Professor of Clinical Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Medicine and Surgery at Temple University School of Dentistry. He obtained his dental degree from the Oregon Health Sciences University and completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. His clinical expertise includes maxillofacial trauma, facial reconstruction, dental implantology, and outpatient anesthesia. He is an active full-time educator and clinician. His areas of interest include curriculum development for various levels of learners, outcome assessment, and integration of technology in education. Dr. Hossaini is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He maintains an active practice at Temple University School of Dentistry and lectures on the state, national and international levels.
