Thomas Craig Freyman

Biography

  Mr. Thomas Craig Freyman serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Abbott Health Products Inc. Mr. Freyman served as an Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration at Abbott Laboratories since June 01, 2015 until February 1, 2017. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Abbott Laboratories from 2001 to June 01, 2015. He served as an Executive Vice President of Finance at Abbott Laboratories from 2004 to June 01, 2015. He joined Abbott on February 1, 1979, where he served in a number of financial planning and analysis positions, including as its Finance Director of European distribution center in the Netherlands since 1984, Division Controller of Corporate Materials Management since 1987 and its Treasurer of International Division since 1988. Mr. Freyman served as Vice President and Treasurer of Abbott since 1991 and served as its Vice President and Controller of Hospital Products Division since June 1999. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Abbott Laboratories from April 2001 to 2004. He was a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Whinney, Chicago. He has been a Director of Tenneco Inc. since January 16, 2013. Mr. Freyman serves as a Director of Abbott Medical Optics Inc (alternate name: Advanced Medical Optics Inc.), Abbott Capital India Limited, Vista Health and the Chicago Botanic Garden. He served as a Director of Abbott Laboratories NZ Limited until January 29, 2016. He served as Director of Abbott Australasia Pty Limited until January 29, 2016. He served as a Director at Abbott Laboratories (Pakistan) Limited until March 24, 2014. He served as a Director of Hospira, Inc. He served as a Director of AbbVie Inc. until January 1, 2013. He is a Member of the Economic Club of Chicago. Mr. Freyman holds a B.S. degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a Master's degree in Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
