James C. Yardley

Biography

Mr. James C. Yardley, also known as Jim, served as the President of EPPP SNG GP Holdings, L.L.C. Mr. Yardley served as the President of Pipeline Group of Southern Natural Gas Co. LLC from 1998 to 2006. Mr. Yardley served as the President of Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. from 2006 to 2012. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of El Paso Pipeline GP Company L.L.C, a General Partner of El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. from August 1, 2007 to May 25, 2012. He served as President and Principal Executive Officer of Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Southern Natural Gas Co. He served as President of Southern Natural Gas Co., a subsidiary of El Paso Corp. from May 1998 to August 1, 2010. Mr. Yardley has been with El Paso since 1978 and has held various roles in its pipeline business, offshore drilling business and corporate staff. He served as Executive Vice President of El Paso Corp. from August 2006 to May 25, 2012 and also served as its President of Pipeline Group until May 25, 2012. He served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development of Southern Natural Gas Company from April 1994 to April 1998. Mr. Yardley served in various positions with Southern Natural Gas and Sonat Inc. since 1978. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Colorado Interstate Gas Co. He has been Chairman of the Board of El Paso Natural Gas Co. since August 2006. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Citrus Corporation (50% El Paso) that owns Florida Gas Transmission. Mr. Yardley serves as Chairman of Board of ANR Pipeline Co. He has been Chairman of the Board and Director of El Paso's Pipeline Group and Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co since August 2006. He served as Chairman of Southern Natural Gas Co. from May 2005 to November 2007. He has been an Independent Director of Sempra Energy since May 2013. He served as Director of El Paso Pipeline GP Company, L.L.C, General Partner of El Paso Pipeline Partners L.P., from August 1, 2007 to May 25, 2012. He serves as a Board Member of National Forest Foundation. Mr. Yardley serves as the Vice Chairman of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA). He is on the Boards of Junior Achievement of Greater Birmingham, Inc., United Way of Central Alabama, Inc. and the Greater Alabama Council, Boy Scouts of America. He served as a Director of Scorpion Offshore Ltd. since August 2008. He served as a Director of Southern Natural Gas Company from 2001 to November 2007. Mr. Yardley holds MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Duke University.
