Biography
Donald R. Parfet is Managing Director of Apjohn Group LLC, a business development firm focused on commercializing breakthrough opportunities in the life sciences industries. He is also General Partner of Apjohn Ventures, a venture capital fund investing in emerging private life science companies. Mr. Parfet serves on the board of trustees of numerous charitable organizations. He is currently board chairman of the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research; board chair of Bronson Healthcare Group; and trustee and past board chair of the Kalamazoo College Board of Trustees. Additionally, Mr. Parfet serves on four public company boards of directors, namely MASCO Corporation; Rockwell Automation, Inc.; Kelly Services, Inc.; and ProNAi Therapeutics, Inc. Mr. Parfet earned his BA degree in economics from the University of Arizona in 1975 and his MBA degree in finance from the University of Michigan in 1977.
