Amalesh Sharma

Biography

Amalesh Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He earned his PhD in Marketing from the Georgia State University, Atlanta. Prior to getting a PhD, he obtained a M.S. in Business Economics, and a M.S. in Managerial Science from Georgia State University, a PGDM from ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai, India, and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Delhi. Amalesh is interested in studying the impact of firm and customer level strategies on firms’ performance. His substantive areas of interest include New Product Management, Marketing-Mix Decisions, M&A, Customer Management, and International Business. Amalesh’s research has been published in top-tier journals (e.g., Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing, Applied Marketing Analytics, and Harvard Business Review).
