Biography
Professor Rice received her PhD from The Ohio State University in 2007. She joined the Accounting Department at Texas A&M University in the summer of 2013 from the University of Connecticut, where she was a faculty member for approximately six years. She has published in top-tier scholarly journals such as Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting Research and Management Science. Her interdisciplinary research strives to inform policy makers and regulators across a variety of market settings. Professor Rice has been invited to present her work in numerous scholastic and professional forums and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for a number of top academic journals.
