Biography
Dr. Buenger serves on the Graduate Faculty of the Mays Business School and holds a Joint Appointment in the Professional Program in Biotechnology. Research Focus: Competitive Strategy, Business History, Not-for Profit Management Teaching Focus: Competitive Strategy and Project Management Service: Mays Business School Curriculum and Assessment Committee and Executive Committee of the Professional Program in Biotechnology Texas Merchant, a monograph detailing the competitive dynamics and strategic decisions of this century’s largest Texas retail operation, was published by Texas A&M Press in January, 1999. She has also written articles and book reviews for Organization Science and Personnel Psychology and has contributed chapters to a number of edited books. Dr. Buenger teaches team-based project management and strategic management and has had the honor of being a Fish Camp namesake. Dr. Buenger also enjoys a robust non-paid work life, including serving as the President of the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer and on a number of community boards.
