Biography
Jacques Richard is a senior lecturer in the department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University, USA. He has completed his Ph. D. in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; 1989. He has done M. S. in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; 19876. He has done B. S. in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University; 1984. He has won awards like 1995 - NASA Glenn (formerly Lewis) Research Center Teamwork Awareness Award, 1995 - NASA Team Achievement Award: Supersonic Flow Drag Probe, (Cash Award) etc. He has published many research papers which are appeared in various national and international journals.

Electric propulsion: ion thruster optics plasma flow, MHD model of ion thruster discharge cathode assembly (DCA), Plasma jets in magnetic fields, Hemodynamics (blood flow in carotid artery)s, Atmospheric and oceanic wave interaction, Lattice-Boltzmann methods, WENO, Spectral element methods
