Claudio Boada Pallerés

Biography

Mr. Claudio Boada Pallerés is a Senior Adviser at The Blackstone Group LP. He serves as a Senior Adviser at The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group since 2012 and serves as its Chairman of Iberia. Mr. Boada Pallerés is a part of the private equity and real estate teams of Blackstone, developing business initiatives and advising The Blackstone Group on originating transactions, and advises on deals in the Iberian region as well as Spain and Portugal. He is also involved with facilitating introductions and performing due diligence on prospective partners, as well as helping Blackstone understand key dynamics in Spain and Portugal He served as a Senior Adviser to HSBC Holdings plc. Mr. Boada Pallerés previously served as a Managing Director at HSBC and was responsible for the Spanish and Portuguese business. He worked for 16 years at Lehman Brothers as Managing Director for Spain and Portugal at Lehman Brothers. From 1990 to 1997, Mr. Boada Pallerés held different positions within Banco del Progreso, Dillon Read Overseas Corporation and Banco de Bilbao. He was responsible for activities in the Iberian region. He is the Chairman of honor of the lobby of the Spanish businessmen. Mr. Boada Pallerés serves as the Chairman of Abantia Ticsa SA. He also heads the Advisory Board of Abantia Ticsa. He serves as a Director of Holcim España y Áreas. He serves as a Member of the European Advisory Board at HSBC plc and HSBC Holdings plc. He served as Non Executive Chairman of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in the Iberian region, originating investments in investment banking, private banking and private equity. He served as the Chairman of Circulo de Empresarios for eight years and of Atlas Capital Private Equity, SGECR, S.A. since 2007. He served as a Chairman at Holcim (España) S.A. He was distinguished in 2005 by the Madrid Official Association of Industrial Engineers as “Engineer of the Year.” Mr. Boada Pallerés holds an MBA from University of Southern California and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Escuela Superior de Ingenieros Industriales, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.
