Biography

Frank Clarke is Vice President, Strategic Development and Key Accounts for the company and is one of the Clarke family shareholders. He began his career with Clarke unofficially at the age of 10, working for his father at the first Clarke operations center in LaGrange, IL.  His job: washing trucks and cleaning the yard. By age 16 he was scheduling mosquito control service work and performing service applications.  Formal education took Frank to Ole’ Miss where he graduated with a degree in Finance and Banking. Before coming back to the family business, he spent several years in New Orleans working in banking and then opened his own Sonitrol security alarm franchise.  Then in 1996, Frank formally joined the Company. The first formal service account he secured was with the Disney city of Celebration, Florida. Since then, Frank has sold public health mosquito control products, services and equipment throughout the southern two thirds of Florida. As the region expanded its number of service locations, Frank’s role changed as a result of his abilities to see solutions for large mosquito control programs. In 2011, he was made Vice President, Strategic Development and Key Accounts, working with large abatement district and public mosquito control programs across the nation.  Frank loves the people of Clarke and feels that Clarke is a fun organization where people feel a part of the business – knowing that they are contributing and that they are making a difference every day.  Frank and wife, Cara, a pilot for Southwest Airlines, have been married for over 10 years. Frank has four wonderful children; Hannah, who works independently; William, living in Missouri and serving in the legal branch of the US Army, Jag Corp; John, completing college and working, and Caroline, also in college. Frank loves to travel with his family when he’s not attending to customer needs or public health emergencies. He also enjoys spending time hunting with his brothers and boating and fishing at his house on the St. John’s River. As long as friends and family are around, every weekend is his perfect weekend.
