Biography
Mr. Kozy has served on our Board since 2016. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Becton Dickinson (NYSE: BDX) from 2012 until his retirement in 2016 and as its Executive Vice President from 2006 until 2016. He also served as a member of the corporate Leadership Team for Becton Dickinson and in various executive roles since 1988, including senior vice president of company operations from 1998 until 2006, president of the BD Worldwide Injection Systems business from 1996 to 1998, and president of the BD Vacutainer™ Systems business from 1988 to 1996. He continues as an active emeritus senior faculty member of the Center for Becton Dickinson Leadership, engaged in Leadership Development for the company. Mr. Kozy is also a member of the Hackensack University Medical Center Board of Governors where he serves on the Strategic Planning and Quality /Patient Safety Committees. He also serves on the Board of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Foundation. He is an active benefactor and volunteer for the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice organization, and the Immokalee Child Care Center (Naples, Florida).
