Biography
Mark Yingling brings more than 30 years of experience to his role as vice president of environmental, health and safety. Yingling helps Doe Run ensure sustainable operations by championing initiatives to minimize environmental impact and promoting workplace health and safety. A leader in the industry, Yingling has won numerous international, national and state awards, including the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement National Director’s Award and the New South Wales Environmental Innovation Award. Prior to Doe Run, Yingling held executive positions at Peabody Energy and its subsidiaries, including vice president of global health, safety and environment, and vice president of environment and conservancy. Yingling earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Yingling is a Mine Safety and Health Administration certified structure inspector and a member of the Society for Mining Engineers, the American Society of Mine Reclamation and the National Mining Association.
