Biography
Ms. Cynthia A. LaConte, also known as Dohmen, has been Chief Executive Officer of Dohmen Investment Group, LLC since January 2009. Ms. LaConte has been Chief Executive Officer of The F. Dohmen Co. since June 2009 and also serves as its President. Ms. LaConte holds presidency titles for Dohmen Investment Group and The F. Dohmen Co. Foundation, having incepted and launched both entities in 2008. Prior to this, Ms. LaConte served as Dohmen's Chief Operating Officer from 2006 to 2008. Ms. LaConte joined The F. Dohmen Co. in 1988 serving as the Vice President of Purchasing for its wholesale division. In 1995, she launched a joint venture with Obergfel Brothers, a West Coast third party logistics company co-investing in a new distribution center located in Memphis, TN. After acquiring Obergfel, the following year, Ms. LaConte founded DDN Pharmaceutical Logistics. While serving as DDN's President, Ms. LaConte launched more than a dozen service lines to life science companies, including order to cash, contract management, reverse logistics and sample processing. She has been a Director of The F. Dohmen Co. since 1995. She graduated cum laude from Mount Mary College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Merchandising.
