Biography
Dr. Robert B. Nay, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, attended Washington & Jefferson College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Biology, while also playing varsity baseball. He furthered his education at the University of Pittsburgh, receiving his D.D.M. in 2001. During his training, he was awarded Dean’s Scholarship, as well as a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Army. Graduating in the top of his class, Dr. Nay then stayed at Pittsburgh to complete his post-doctorate certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2004. Upon completion of his education, Dr. Nay fulfilled his military obligation as a Major in the Army from 2004 until 2007, providing orthodontic treatment to both soldiers and their family members in Stuttgart, Germany. Afterward, Dr. Nay practiced two years in south central Pennsylvania before moving to the Raleigh area in 2009. He and his wife, Lisa, now call The Triangle home and have three children – Von, Sullivan, and Jelena.
