Biography
Laura Kubitz is the Manager, Media Communications for the International Food Information Council. In her role, Kubitz works with IFIC’s media team to communicate science-based information on health, nutrition, ag technology and food safety to the media. Kubitz connects industry experts with reporters to help bring balance in today’s media landscape. Originally from Florida, Kubitz moved to Washington, D.C. in 2012 to begin her career and served for more than two years as a public affairs manager for an agricultural trade association. She holds a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in agricultural education and communication from the University of Florida. Kubitz is passionate about the outdoors, eating healthy, rock climbing, and running.
