Biography
Dr. Blodget's clinical interests include HIV, transplant infections and infectious disease. Her research interests include the incidence and outcomes of vancomycin-resistant enterococcus (VRE) infection in patients with cirrhosis who are awaiting liver transplantation. She is conducting a large ongoing retrospective study in these patients to determine the risk factors as well as morbidity and mortality of VRE infection.Dr. Blodget earned her Master's in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University and then received her medical degree from University College Cork in Cork Ireland. She then went on to complete her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at LAC+USC Medical Center. Dr. Blodget's clinical interests include HIV, transplant infections and infectious disease.
