Biography

Dr. Colangeli received his PhD from La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy. He worked in the Microbiology Department at the Italian National Institute of Health (instituto Superiore di Sanita). After moving to NYC, he joined the Public Health Research Institute as a Post-Doctoral research fellow working in Immunology of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Dr. Colangeli was also a Post-Doctoral research fellow at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He joined UMDNJ in 2002 as a research associate and now he is an Assistant Professor working with Genetics of Mycobacterium Tuberculosis.
