Biography
Dr. Alejandro Gallego Schmid has a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science (years 1997-2001), a MEng (Hons) Degree in Environmental Engineering (years 2001-2004) and obtained his PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering with First Class (Honours) cum laude (years 2004-2008). Dr. Gallego has published 17 scientific articles with 190 citations (complete list in https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Alejandro_Gallego_Schmid), contributed to 18 national and international conferences and participated as PI and co-I in 10 national and international scientific projects. Dr Gallego has worked also as an Environmental Engineer and Sustainability Research and Development Manager in a sector leader multinational industrial company (Cosentino S.A.; years 2009-2014).
Research Interest
Dr. Galllego research interest are focus in life cycle assessment (LCA), carbon footprint, eco-design, circular economy and global change.
