Biography
Dr. Jason Ritchie is Associate Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry at The University of Mississippi. He has done his B.S. from Winona State University, Ph.D. from University of Georgia and Postdoctoral Fellow in ETH Zürich, Switzerland and Emory University. His current research is studying insight to important chemical problems in essentially every area of chemistry, especially biological and organic chemistry, through theory and computation rather than experimentation. Chemistry is largely governed by the physics of electrons.
Research Interest
Physical chemistry, theoretical chemistry, computational chemistry, non-covalent interactions, hydrogen bonding, van der Waals forces
