Biography
Dr. Claudio Soto obtained his Ph.D in University of Chile, Santiago, Chile. He has received his Postdoctoral Fellowship from Catholic University of Chile, Santiago, Chile, and New York University School of Medicine, New York, New York. Currently he is working as Professor in The University of Texas Medical school.
Research Interest
Molecular basis of neurodegenerative diseases associated to the misfolding and brain accumulation of proteins, particularly focusing in Alzheimer’s and prion-related disorders.
