Biography
Brian Walkup is an Assistant Professor of Finance at The University of Tulsa. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Florida and has an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School at Rollins College. His research has been published in a number of highly-respected academic journals including Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Sport Management, and Financial Review. His research interests include empirical corporate finance, after-hours trading, and the intersection between sports and finance. Brian was the recipient of the 2012-2013 Helmerich Graduate Faculty Excellence Award and has been nominated on multiple occasions for the Mayo Teaching Excellence Award.
