Biography
Buford Boyd Pollett is a Texas Licensed Attorney and Geoscientist, a licensed attorney in Louisiana and Georgia, and a proctor in maritime law. His energy experience includes work with Eni (the Italian National Oil Company), Wilson Offshore & Marine, McDermott, Technip, Entergy, Amoco, Texaco, Nabors, and a Shell-Exxon joint venture in Germany (BEB Erdgas und Erdöl). He has a MS/BS in Geology from the University of Georgia, a Master in International Business Management from Pepperdine University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans. Corporate decision analysis, legal and regulatory aspects of oil/gas well facilities abandonment and decommissioning in onshore and offshore production environments, maritime energy law, legal and financial transactions in international energy commerce.
