Biography
Denise Dutton administers the Honors Program and serves as founding director of the Henneke Center for Academic Fulfillment. In addition to teaching in the Honors Program, Denise coordinates the admission and selection of Honors Scholars and works with TU professors to staff Honors seminars, to review the Honors curriculum and to advise students designing an Honors Plan. Through the Henneke Center, Denise organizes forums to address common challenges in teaching and to highlight strategies TU professors are using with great success to engage students in the life of the mind and advance their learning. She develops and maintains resources to support faculty in their teaching, advising, and professional leadership. She also facilitates the University Seminar.
