Biography
Karl Pollin is an Associate Professor of French and Comparative Literature,University of Tulsa. He has completed his Ph.D. from Emory University . His teaching interests include Upper-level French courses, from Introduction to French Literature to special topics (French Cinema, Creation and Madness, Knowledge and Desire in the 18th Century...) and Courses cross-listed with Comparative Literature (Thinking with Science Fiction) and Philosophy (Continental and Post-structuralist Philosophy).
Research Interest
Monograph "Experimentation of Singularity" on the French Poet Alfred Jarry was published by Rodopi in 2013; current research is situated halfway between Contemporary Literature and Philosophy (Laruelle, Lyotard, Deleuze, Badiou)
