Biography
Total Financial Solutions Australia (TFSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Countplus Limited, has announced the appointment of Andrew Kennedy as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Kennedy has been the acting CEO for TFSA since January 2017, following the departure of former CEO, Marcelo Fernandez, who left the role due to lifestyle and family reasons. Prior to this, Kennedy was the general manager for growth at TFSA. Previously, he was the head of distribution at Energy Industries Super Scheme and head of Genesys leaders & strategic alliances at Genesys Wealth Advisers. Commenting on his appointment at TFSA, Countplus CEO, Matthew Rowe, said: “Andrew will lead the business towards capturing strong market momentum behind high-quality licensees offering a natural home to professional and ethical financial advice in Australia." Kennedy added: “I am excited about the new role and opportunity to lead and grow TFSA on behalf of all advisers and their clients."
