Biography
Dr. Fulop received his Master’s degree in chemistry from Kossuth Lajos University, Debrecen, Hungary in 1987, and his PhD in Biochemistry from Rush University, Chicago, IL in 1995. After graduation, Dr. Fulop worked in the Lerner Research Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he conducted biomedical research until 2008. Dr. Fulop joined Touro University Nevada at the rank of assistant professor in 2009. He is currently teaching medical biochemistry for Doctor of Osteopathy and Physician Assistant students, as well as other courses in the Master of Health Science program.
Research Interest
Extracellular matrix biochemistry/biology, and encompassed areas such as rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, female reproductive biology, investigation of cumulus extracellular matrix formation during ovulation and the importance of this matrix for female fertility and contraceptive development.
