Biography
Dr. Mahboob Qureshi, MD, MPH, PhD, is the Associate Dean for Research and Professor of Microbiology and Immunology. He received his MD degree from the College of Medicine, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, which is accredited by the General Medical Council, United Kingdom. He completed his MPH, MHSc in Epidemiology and PhD in Immunology from the School of Medicine, University of Ryukyus, Japan. He directs and teaches Immunology and Medical Microbiology courses and has been honored with the Professor of the Year award for seven times during his tenure at the University. He was the final nominee for the Northup Medical Educator Award in 2007.
