Biography
Dr. Chinta is Adjunct Assistant Professor in Buck Institute for Research on Aging, Novato CA and Assistant Professor of the Department of Biological & Pharmaceutical Sciences in Touro University. He has completed his PhD in Neurochemistry (2003) in National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India.
Research Interest
Role of various molecular mechanisms that cause nerve cell death associated with Parkinson's disease (PD), Elucidating the role of mitochondrial dysfunction, protein aggregation, oxidative stress and neuroinflammation.
