Biography
Cheryl D. Cropp, Pharm.D., Ph.D. accepted a joint faculty position with TGen and the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy in January 2015 upon completion of her postdoctoral research fellowship in the Statistical Genetics Section, Computational and Statistical Genomics Branch (CSGB), National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), National Institutes of Health (NIH) with Dr. Joan E. Bailey-Wilson. While at NHGRI, she was the first recipient of the NHGRI's Health Disparities Research Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. Dr. Cropp earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics at the University of California, San Francisco.
Research Interest
functional variants in healthy and health disparate world populations utilizing unrelated and family data, genetic epidemiology of prostate cancer, cardiovascular genetic epidemiology in the diabetic veteran population, cancer chemotherapeutics and pharmacokinetics.
