Biography
Dr. Robin Todd has over 35 years of experience conducting pesticide research, designing studies, obtaining registrations and ensuring regulatory compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), state regulatory authorities and Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA). He specializes in conventional chemical pesticides, including public health and household insecticides and repellents, and is recognized as a top expert in the pest control industry. Dr. Todd is board certified in regulatory and medical/veterinary entomology. Dr. Todd’s experience includes overseeing efficacy testing for household and public health pest control products. He also assists companies in developing novel methodologies for pest control testing and costeffective methods to evaluate repellents. Additionally, he coordinates lab screening and field testing for insect control pesticide products. Dr. Todd routinely interacts with agency staff regarding product registration, product re-evaluation and compliance issues associated with EPA, U.S. states and Canada’s PMRA requirements. He has significant experience working on matters for biochemicals and conventional pesticides, such as pyrethroids, organophosphates and IGRs, as well as new active ingredients and new uses. Prior to joining Technology Sciences Group Inc. (TSG), Dr. Todd was the Executive Director and Lead Scientist at i2L Research USA (formerly ICR, Inc.), a product testing and registration consulting firm. In this capacity, he conducted and oversaw efficacy studies and insect rearing. Prior to ICR, Dr. Todd worked as a VSO (the UK equivalent of the Peace Corp) for the Mosquito Research & Control Unit in Grand Cayman. Dr. Todd is originally from Totnes, Devon in the UK.
