Dr. Saadia Eltayeb

Biography

 Dr. Saadia Eltayeb brings over 15 years of experience in product chemistry and regulatory compliance under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA), providing guidance on the introduction of new chemicals and assisting with notifications, testing and inventory interpretations.  Dr. Eltayeb also assists companies with general TSCA compliance and performs TSCA compliance audits. In addition, she has practical experience with experimental design and analytical method development for TSCA and FIFRA-related products, helps prepare and submit food contact notifications (FCNs), and can assist with GMP and GLP compliance issues. Dr. Eltayeb has strong working relationships with officials at EPA and FDA, and routinely assists companies in complying with the statutes governed by these regulatory authorities. Prior to Technology Sciences Group Inc. (TSG), Dr. Eltayeb was the Manager of Raw Materials/Analytical Group for FujiFilm Manufacturing USA, Inc., where she oversaw quality control, research and troubleshooting operations, including writing and reviewing analytical testing and validation protocols according to FDA guidelines. She is a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and proficient in English, Arabic and French. Dr. Eltayeb was also the Chairperson of the Industrial Advisory Board at the University of South Carolina.

Research Interest

 Dr. Eltayeb has particular expertise in preparing and submitting section 5 premanufacture notices (PMNs) and low volume exemptions (LVEs) under TSCA, and new substance notifications (NSNs) under CEPA. She has significant experience working with polymers and testing them for exemption eligibility as well as providing guidance on import and export issues under TSCA.
