Ms. Melinda Bowman

Biography

 Ms. Melinda Bowman specializes in federal and state regulatory affairs for pesticide products. She has more than a decade of experience managing registrations and overseeing label development to ensure that conventional and biochemical pesticide products are compliant with FIFRA in the U.S. She also possesses the expertise to oversee concurrent registrations in states with complex regulatory requirements, including California. Combining her background in chemistry with her industry knowledge, Ms. Bowman thoroughly understands the scientific and regulatory requirements governing the approval and ongoing compliance of chemically-related products.Prior to joining Technology Sciences Group (TSG) Inc., Ms. Bowman was a Registration Manager at Arysta LifeScience. While at Arysta LifeScience, she managed registrations for new active ingredients and participated in data compensation negotiations, in addition to managing the state registration and label specialists. She has previously worked at other prominent agrochemical companies including FMC Corporation, Valent U.S.A. Corporation, and The Clorox Company.    

Research Interest

 She has experience in managing state and federal registrations for both new active ingredients and routine formulations, developing data compensation strategies, creating safety data sheets (SDS) for FIFRA-regulated products, interpreting regulatory requirements, data coordination and dossier preparation to facilitate establishment of domestic and international maximum residue limits and pesticide active ingredient tolerances.
