Biography
Michael received his B.S. and M.S. from Oklahoma State University and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois CU. He started his career as a Senior Microbiologist with Nalco Chemical, one of the world’s largest water treatment companies. From there he served as the Director of Research & Development and Director of Technical Operations with Semco Bioscience, a Bacillus fermentation company.Dr. King then became a Principal Scientist, Partner with Agtech Products focusing on DNA platform technologies for studying animal gut microbial ecosystems. Later partnering with JBS United and Agtech Products (DuPont), Dr. King co-founded Microbial Discovery Group, a microbial research and fermentation company.
