Biography

 Mr. Paul J. Bonavia has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power Company, New Century Services Inc. since 1998. Mr. Bonavia serves as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of UniSource Energy Corp. Mr. Bonavia has been General Counsel, 1480 Welton Inc., Green and Clear Lakes Company, NC Enterprises Inc., PSR Investments Inc., PS Colorado Credit Corp., WestGas InterState Inc. since 1998. He serves as Vice President of Northern States Power (MN). He served as the President of Commercial Enterprises of Xcel Energy of Northern States Power Company-Wisconsin since December 2003 and served as its Vice President since August 2000. He served as Vice President of Northern States Power Company. He served as Vice President of Northern States Power Co. (WI) since August 2000. He served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at UNS Energy Corporation, UNS Energy Services and Tucson Electric Power Company from January 1, 2009 to May 2, 2014 and served as its President since January 1, 2009 until May 2, 2014. He served as the President of Utilities Group of Xcel Energy Inc., Parent Company of Southwestern Public Service Co. from November 1, 2005 to December 18, 2008. Mr. Bonavia served as President of Tucson Electric Power Company from January 1, 2009 to December 2011. Mr. Bonavia served as the President of Commercial Enterprises business unit of Xcel Energy Inc., since December 2003 and President of Energy Markets from August 2000 to December 2003. Mr. Bonavia served as Vice President of Southwestern Public Service Co. since August 2001. He served as Vice President of Public Service Co. of Colorado. He held senior positions at Dominion Power. Mr. Bonavia served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at New Century Energies from 1997 and President of its International business unit. He was employed at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, LLP. He served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Dominion Resources, Inc., in Richmond, Va. He served as Partner in the Miami-based law firm of Steel Hector & Davis. He served as an Executive Chairman at UNS Energy Corporation since May 2, 2014 until sale to Fortis Inc. He served as Chairman of Treo. He served as an Executive Chairman of Tucson Electric Power Company since May 2, 2014. He serves as a Director of Northern States Power Company-Wisconsin. He serves as a Director of Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. Mr. Bonavia serves as a Director of Northern States Power Co. (WI), Treo, Public Service Company of Colorado, and The Arizona Commerce Authority. He has served as a director or trustee of the Southern Arizona Leadership Council (former chairman), Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities (former chairman), United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona (former chairman), University of Arizona Foundation, Tucson Airport Authority, Edison Electric Institute, Institute for Energy Efficiency and American Wind Energy Association. He served as Director of Fortis Inc. from May 7, 2015 to February 9, 2016 and Tucson Electric Power Company since January 2009. He served as a Director of Northern States Power Company. He served as a Director of Public Service Co. of Colorado. He served as a Director at Northern States Power (MN). He served as Director of Southwestern Public Service Company. He served as trustee of Drake University, the Colorado Symphony Association, the Virginia Literacy Foundation and the Florida Shakespeare Festival. Mr. Bonavia attended Drake University, the University of Miami School of Law and Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program. He holds a bachelor's degree from Drake University and a law degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
